INSTALLING BASE
Rock-Stone® Polyceramic Base
IMPORTANT
Rock-Stone® Polyceramic shower bases requiring floor levelling prior to installation can be either:
• Arranged by owner/builder at own expense
• Oben installers can provide Floor Levelling Service on a charge up basis and will be dependent on scope of levelling required.
Levelling compound materials and labour will be invoiced as a separate line item cost.
Levelling base is an optional extra and is not included in Rock-Stone base installation cost.

Floor Preparation
Shower Walls
a) Shower walls (Gib/Villa Board) must be installed prior to base
a) Ensure Drain Flange has been secured and installed flush with top of sub floor
installation
b) Drain has been installed in correct position (refer to rough-in) 1) Timber floor - Tile and Slate Underlay
2) Concrete floor - Free of debris, undulations and clean
IMPORTANT
Customers requesting Oben Rock-Stone® shower base installation service must ensure the above check list ( 1 Floor Level, 2 Floor Preparation and 3 Shower Walls) have been installed in accordance with Oben Rock-Stone® Rough-In Guide Instructions.
Failure to ensure all items as specified on base pre-install check list have been completed which results in Oben installers travelling to site and being unable to install base will incur an additional $50 call out fee.
Customers will need to re-schedule base installation after remedial work completed. Installation service applies to Oben Rock-Stone® base only and specifically excludes PVC Drain, Channel Drain Installation and Plumbing.
