SHOWER NICHE HEIGHT CALCULATION
Oben recommends internal niche shelf height is set at 1200 mm off sub floor and allows for a 20 mm safety buffer which can be used to raise the niche shelf tile height junction to match the finished wall tile height.
Ask your builder to consult with your tiler regarding your actual shower recess height required as this may vary depending on actual tile size selection, grout joints and tiled floor levels.
Tile are a nominal size and can vary from actual size advertised. Example 600 X 600 tile may be only 595 X 595.
